All throughout history, those who claim to follow Christ have been forced to answer one particular question – Why? Defending your faith or Apologetics is not about being the most confrontational Christian out there. No, much deeper than that it’s about gaining understanding about why following Jesus truly is worth it and answering for yourself – Why do I believe what I believe?
Infobesity: Finding Purpose in an Information Overload Word

Have you ever been distracted by your digital device? Ever been overwhelmed with digital activity? I think we all have. This interactive session is about how to overcome personal digital distractions and redeem digital spaces as followers of Jesus.
Learn how to keep your cool and get the results you want when emotions flare.
When stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong, you have three choices: Avoid a crucial conversation and suffer the consequences; handle the conversation badly and suffer the consequences; or have a Crucial Conversations and discover how to communicate best when it matters most. This workshop gives you the tools you need to step up to life’s most difficult and important conversations, say what’s on your mind, and achieve the positive resolutions you want.

Our current generation is often inundated with messages, social media posts and TikTok videos that promote harmful ideas about identity, sexuality, and relationships. This situation raises a question – how can we navigate these cultural pressures and live our lives in the way that God intended? In this session, we will explore the stories of two young men from the Bible who responded differently to the pressures of their time and see where their choices led them. Through their experiences, we can learn how we can overcome these same challenges and fulfill God’s purpose for our generation.

Being a girl is difficult. And wonderful. And confusing. And incredible. In this session we are going to have some conversation about the unique pressures we face as females, and how God has woven purpose into our humanity. We’ll laugh together, explore Scripture, give room for questions and response, and you’ll leave with more confidence in who you’re made to be.

Join us for an interactive workshop where youth will dive into the world of musical worship! Students will explore the significance of music in worship and gain practical skills in playing instruments, singing, and leading worship. Through hands-on workshops, group rehearsals, and stage performances, participants will learn the basics of music theory, hone their instrumental abilities, and collaborate with peers to create and perform worship songs. This workshop offers a unique opportunity for youth to not only learn about music in worship but also to step onto the stage and lead others in heartfelt worship experiences.

Ever wondered who you really are? If you’ll always have your friends? What you will do with your life? What’s your vibe, your belief system? These questions are all about figuring out your identity, how you see yourself. Every single person deals with these questions at some point. And for us Christians, it can get kind of tricky balancing who we think we are with what Jesus says about us. So, in this workshop, we’re going to dive deep into understanding ourselves. We’ll chat about how we form our identities and how Jesus can help us build a solid sense of self on His rock-solid foundation, rather than getting tossed around by whatever’s popular

YG is a youth conference held in British Columbia every year. Hosted by the BC & Yukon District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, our team strives to create a place for youth from our district to come and experience Jesus.
